Fayetteville’s Favorite
Bed & Breakfast
Southern Charm Meets History, Hospitality & Heart
Welcome to The MacPherson House - AKA "The Mac" - our perfectly imperfect B&B nestled in the heart of Fayetteville, North Carolina. She’s historic (built in 1920), a bit of a show-off (wait ‘til you see the porch), and full of stories if you’re quiet enough to listen. Think clawfoot tubs, coffee on the veranda, local art, and a breakfast that makes you feel like someone’s Southern grandma loves you deeply.

Less than 10 minutes from I-95 and only 8 miles from Fort Liberty, our location is as convenient as it is cozy so whether you’re road-tripping down I-95, reuniting with your favorite military hero, hosting a girls’ weekend that must include wine and giggles, or just need a place where your soul can catch its breath -- The Mac is here for it. We’re basically one barn dance away from being a Hallmark movie, y’all.

A Love Letter to Home
We’re military-connected, Southern-rooted, and heart-led.

When Katy (our owner and your kindred spirit) first walked into this historic home, she felt it whisper: "This is where stories begin." So she brought it back to life - creaky floors and all - alongside her husband and with a whole lot of elbow grease, love, and local pride.

The Mac is more than a bed and breakfast. It’s a slice of Americana, a refuge for military families, a haven for dreamers, and a hub for slow mornings and great conversations.

At our core, we’re about connection. To each other. To where we come from. And to the idea that maybe - just maybe - a charming inn can help people feel a little more at home in the world.

Come stay. Come sigh. Come see why guests don’t just visit… they belong.

Local Love, Southern Style
Discover Fayetteville’s hidden gems: walkable shops, local eats, art strolls, and history woven into every corner. Spend the day exploring, then come back to The Mac and put your feet up on the porch.

Small Events, Lasting Memories
Whether it’s a baby shower, birthday brunch, or business retreat, we specialize in warm, one-of-a-kind gatherings that feel personal, beautiful, and just a little bit magical.

And while you’re here?
Fayetteville’s not the city you think you know -- it’s the Southern Stars Hollow with a patriotic twist. Quirky antique shops, farm-to-fork fare, art walks, and military history that runs deeper than your granddaddy’s drawl. Come see the softer, sweeter, sassier side of North Carolina.
Because every girl deserves a weekend where
she’s the main character.
